Start of the good season

Sunday 6th Apr 2008 - Cothill

This update is coming to you live and fresh from 157. So for this infrequent occasion we decided to ride in some jumps and take some souls. Wtareing is such a key part of riding in jumps made with this magical mud, stops them all falling apart like. This landing has had two consecutive days of riding joy, and is getting hard. not as hard as Amir Khan, but perhaps Ross kemp hard at the moment.

Opposite tweeaaaaak

The first two work a treat, which is wonderful. Aidan also tested a hip which looks fun and sent himself into freefall over another skimmer. Not too shabby for the first weekend of the year. this morning we awoke at 7 to an Arctic like snowwy blizzard, which will have no doubt knocked progress back a peg or two. Bugger.

Chris Tucker

This jump is deceiving, in the fact that until you step back and look at the gap, you don't really realise how far it is. Much like Chertsey express line, which gives a similar deceptive feeling of jump size. straight after this tuck, Aidan skidded, punched the air then soaked himself in Bucks Fizz like he has just won the grand prix.

Tweaks

This jump goes to the right slightly, and makes you do heaps of wierd bike and bidy tweaks that you previously didn't know existed. the landing is relatively steep and gives you loads of speed into the berm, which nearly made me wee my pants. It's all fast enough now to give the landings a good Ollie Gunning aka the chainring case to rolly polly.

Look Mum no hands

That was the first update in a long time, and quite possibly the finest damn update this side of Prettyshady. Look out for the next encounter coming some time in late 2009. Peace and love. x
