Saturday 25th Nov 2006 - Cothill

holla!

its a saturday night. im allowed to stay in cos im working on uni time. only 20 days since my last update. whoops. ed pays us contributors for every update we do, so if we do enough it can actually pay the rent and stuff so im a bit down. chaz has earned quite alot this month so took aidan out the other weekend and they drunk champagne in some classy club with a bunch of famous people and girls waiting on them. despite his appearance ed actually does that most nights and has been running a seedy girls club since half way through his first year at cardiff. sickh-ed.

by the by, this is aidans new frame he got yesterday. he managed to crack his frame quite horrendously around the headtube a few weeks ago doing some kooky trick variation, and it probably worked out cheaper to buy a new one than weld it up. its pretty rad yo. i helped him knock out the headset cups then fell asleep...

what else? i got back a few hours ago from hertfordshire uni. we got up there pretty late on thursday then went out to a club called batchwoods which was pretty nuts. its an old mansion converted into a club with huge staircases and pretty ceilings. its the most sexed up place ive been to. it had these podiums with loose chicks in tiny tiny skirts gyrating on their girlyfriends. for some reason when girls are on podiums they get about 10 times cuter. got shouted at by the bouncers for wearing a dialled hat and laughed at by the guy at the front who checks your tickets and shoes, cos i dont own a smart pair of shoes, so instead wore some slippers. dont ever wear them again, he said....what does he know?
sang football songs on the way home, god only knows why.

i just wanna clear something up cos it seems to have caused a wee bit of confusion. cothill still exists just as it always did. just cos its not on the internet that much anymore doesnt mean its dead. me and aido have been pretty busy recently, since hes basically starting his career and ive been doing things that arent relevant. so we dont need any help thanks, cothills an organic place, we dont rush these things or try and build the biggest gaps. we've just been letting it settle for a while since we had a bit of a building frenzy in the summer, note rain peppering and lots of leaves.

its all changed quite a bit now. aidans taken over the main line after me having it for 4 years or something, and im building a silly line of stuff that i want to ride. last year i built stuff that i thought i should ride. dont do it, it never works. so its all 1ft high, 3ft gaps in my line with rollers. love it. this is aidans first set up set. we tested our lines back in august or something so stuff works. so there you have it, its as shit as its always been, just the way we like it.

have a wonderful time. might have some actual riding pictures one day maybe? ed pays us more for that...xx
